Included in this introductive tour are some of the most interesting and popular sights on the island, such as Wat Phra Yai with the 12 m tall sitting golden Buddha statue, which can already be seen from the plane; the viewpoint at Ladd Koh, where you can enjoy a (soft) drink to accompany the view; the curious rock formation of Hin Ta & Hin Yai (Grandfather- and Grandmother Rock), where you can almost be made to believe, that Mother Nature has a strange kind of humor, shaping these kinds of rocks; a "Monkey School", where monkeys are trained to pick coconuts from the trees; the temple of Wat Kunaram, where you can see the mummified body of a Buddhist monk in pose of meditation, frozen in time, since his death, two decades ago; the Na Muang Waterfall. This huge, 30 m high waterfall has created a swimming pool in which you can have a refreshing swim, depending on the time of the year; a market in the island's capital of Nathon, where you will stop for shopping.
